Public Concerned Traffic Circle is Too One-Sided
December 28, 2022
Lately concerned citizens have been going in circles as they debate which way to go with the traffic circle. Most locals want it to be left alone for historical purposes, while others want to go a different direction. The debate has been going round and round over the future of the traffic circle, especially the funding that has come to a screeching halt. A grant in the amount of fifty-eight million dollars was awarded to the DOT for the project. Unless the debate comes full circle, the money will be lost. In the event that the project falls through, the next viable option will be to bulldoze the traffic circle entirely and build a subdivision in its place.
