Proud Boys Make Stand in Moore County

December 16, 2022

Proud Boys members came to Moore County this week upsetting many people new to the area by making a stand.  They erected a seven-foot by five-foot wooden lemonade stand that caught the attention of many shoppers, most of whom said they were extremely thirsty and began to approach the stand.  Protests erupted by angry activists stating that the group was not allowed in the area because they were offensive, and just by being there, their presence was spreading hate. When questioned, one Proud Boys member said, “I just thought it would be a nice thing to do because we seem to get slandered by the media so often, and we really just want to help thirsty people.” The thirsty activists broke out into the chant, “five, six, seven, eight, lemonade is spreading hate!”.  Another Proud Boys member told reporters, “It just seemed to us that when life gives you lemons, you make lemonade. Plus, we have all these yellow clothes, so it kind of matches what we are trying to do.”
